Tally Ho?
Perhaps we start at Good Bye.
The End.
Is it?

A very curious lesson hit so powerfully this week. The end is the beginning. I met a beautiful soul recently. The gentility just pours from this being. So full of creativity and caution and fear of exposure. The depth and sweetness will catch you of guard. And it’s so relatable.
10 of Wands; the end became the beginning
Fire. This feels like it should be a scream. In the realm of Fire, I believe even a whisper holds as much impact.
I have been thinking a lot about fire these days. Fire as the passion and heat that propels and encourages movement. The Fire of the Sun that becomes so irresistible that soft and soaking little seeds are driven to their hardest fight of bursting open, stretching themselves within the darkness so much farther than is possible and then climbing through soil to just feel that warmth.
We, too, must stretch and push out of our comfort in order to grow.
I had a beautiful reading last Friday that offered so much depth within a single card. I was able to see symbols I had not yet seen after having looked at this a thousand times before. Within the tarot, the ten is seen as the finale, the saturation, the end of the matter. But in every end there lies another beginning. At first glance, this person is tired, weighed down & moving so much at once. It looks like a struggle. Right? The wood carried in many directions and yet when you look a little closer, a little slower…. I see growth. These wands of wood are no longer trees, no longer connected to their roots. This doesn’t mean their roots don’t exist, but they are not visible. These wands were severed by choice. A decision was made to cut. Cut away from the roots. Become something new. How else would one expand & take up space? These wands saw an honorable and intentional death to provide for what is to come. Fuel and structure.
We cannot see your face, dear one. You look healthy, strong and determined. You have nearly reached your destination. Still, so much work awaits. What will you do with all these wands? They are still full of life and water. The proof in the leaves near the top of these magical, if not phallic, wands. You are ready to create.

By honoring the ending itself and wishing it well with a thoughtful closure. For the task, the day, the life. Sending off with a ceremony is the nature of humanity. The flowers we place, the cloth and scents with which we adorn our bodies. Take the time to see the sweetness in the moment. Even the painful breaths are still breath. Proof of life, never-ending springtime.
Living rituals:
washing off the day with slowness
stretching before bed
resting and waking with no alarm
gentility and kindness
lighting the candle
the feel of soap bubbles on your skin

that wear the dress or shoes or perfume you save for a special moment. See the fire in your life. Be the fire that 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒔 your life and savor every moment.
Thank you, sweet reader, for being in my orbit & wandering through these words.

Thank you for a different insight into the 10 of Wands. I have pulled this card in a couple of readings recently and have seen it as holding both a sense of Completion and of a New Beginning.
Thank you Shawna, you always bring new perpective. Aporeciate you.
